Official release of SEAMCAT-3 (3.2.5)

SEAMCAT® is a free of charge integrated software tool based on the Monte-Carlo simulation method. It permits statistical modelling of different radio interference scenarios for performing sharing and compatibility studies between radiocommunications systems in the same or adjacent frequency bands.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Choose the latest version from the download area.
  2. Download the platform independent Java web start (.jnlp file) and follow the installation instructions. Alternatively, if you have problem installing SEAMCAT on Windows, try downloading the Windows installer (.msi file).
  3. Fill in the registration form and press the "Register and Download" button. You will be re-directed to a download pop-up.

Installation using Java Webstart technology (seamcat.jnlp).
This installation will be automatically updated when new versions are released.

Installation for Microsoft Windows (seamcat.msi).
This installation will NOT be automatically updated.

System Requirements:

  1. Make sure you have the Java version 6 (e.g. J2SE Java Runtime Environment) or newer installed and properly configured on your system. You can test your Java version here.
  2. You need to have administrative rights to install SEAMCAT on your computer. If you do not have them, please go here to get information on how to launch SEAMCAT from a USB stick.
  3. You need to have at least 1 GB of physical RAM is required on your computer.
