SEAMCAT® is a free of charge integrated software tool based on the Monte-Carlo simulation method. It permits statistical modelling of different radio interference scenarios for performing sharing and compatibility studies between radiocommunications systems in the same or adjacent frequency bands.

Installation Instructions:

  1. When pressing the download image we ask you to give regitration data.
  2. Once registered the download can proceed. It consists of a single file (.jar file) which can be launched by running it with the Java launcher or from the command line as: java -Xms64m -Xmx1024m -jar seamcat-5.0.1.jar

System Requirements:

  1. Make sure you have the Java Runtime Environment version 7 and above. You can test your Java version here.
  2. You need to have at least 1 GB of physical RAM is required on your computer.

Plugin development:

SEAMCAT supports custom written plugins. You need to develop your own plugin using a Java development environment (IDE) for instance IDEA Intellij. The Java dependencies (.jar file) needed for you development can be downloaded from here
