Official release of SEAMCAT-3 (Current official version is: 3.1.47)
SEAMCAT is developed using Java which means it can run on any operating system supported by Java. Before you install SEAMCAT you should install Java in at least version 1.6. Java is available freely from Java.com.

ERO provides 2 options for installation of SEAMCAT:
  1. Platform independant installation using Java Webstart technology. This installation will be automaticly updated when new versions are released.
  2. Offline installation for Microsoft Windows. This installation will NOT be automaticly updated but is recommended if you experience problems with webstart on Windows. Please note that the offline installation still needs Java in at least version 1.6 to be installed on the system.

NB: Please note that you have to have administrative rights (i.e. the right to install software) on your PC before installing SEAMCAT-3!
