Official release of SEAMCAT-3 (Current official version is: 3.2.1 Official)
SEAMCAT is developed using Java which means it can run on any operating system supported by Java. Before you install SEAMCAT you should install Java in at least version 1.6. Java is available freely from Java.com.

ECO provides 2 options for installation of SEAMCAT:
  1. Platform independent installation using Java Webstart technology. This installation will be automatically updated when new versions are released.
  2. Offline installation for Microsoft Windows; this is particularly recommended for users of Windows 7. This installation will NOT be automatically updated but is recommended if you experience problems with webstart on Windows.

NB: Please note that you have to have administrative rights (i.e. the right to install software) on your PC before installing SEAMCAT-3!
